Lightner Electronics, Inc. is a full-service Audio Visual and Broadcast Engineering firm providing design, repair, fabrication, sales, technical support, and installation of broadcast and A/V equipment, Due Diligence inspections, and technical management for small and large projects all over the United States . Lightner Electronics, Inc. was founded in 1992 by Matthew W. Lightner.  Mr. Lightner, who serves as President of the company, is certified as a Broadcast Engineer by the National Society of Broadcast Engineers. Among his certifications he has won numerous awards in the electronics field and serves on the occupational advisory committee at the Altoona Career and Technology Center. Mr. Lightner also serves as the Engineering Consultant for the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters, and as the Technical Chairman of the Pennsylvania State Emergency Communication Committee. Mr. Lightner takes pride in the work he does with the SECC, PEMA, and the PAB in helping design and maintain the systems that notifies the citizens of Pennsylvania of emergencies that could be life threatening.

Lightner Electronics has worked with many small, medium, and large market radio stations, radio groups, radio networks, TV stations, Government Agencies, Universities, Churches and, Commercial businesses. Over the years we have expanded from one employee to our current 10 to meet the need of our customers. One unique aspect of the company is our ability to apply the knowledge and techniques that we have learned at major broadcast groups to small market stations for cost effective solutions to their engineering needs.
