University of North Carolina - WUNC

The University of North Carolina contracted Lightner Electronics to design and construct their new studio facilities, including rack room, studios, news rooms and source cabling.  The facility uses the Wheatstone Wheatnet system.

These pictures are from the construction of the new studio facilities for Renda Broadcasting.  New Studios for WCCS, WDAD, WLCY, and WQMU including production rooms, a rack room, AudioArts Router and Consoles and MediaTouch automation system.

Penn State University
Penn State University College of Communications recently relocated their studios and classrooms to Innovation Park. As Phase 1, Lightner Electronics, Inc. was selected to install a new studio and production for Com Radio. Phase 2 included Installation of the new Broadcast Lab Studio and Audio Lab studio.

Each studio includes AudioArts consoles and additional equipment. Lightner Electronics Inc. also provided data cabling for tie lines between audio studios, the TV studio and Telecom closets. This provides audio routing over shielded CAT 5 cable to provide links to air for any studio. All work was completed for the 2003 school year.
